Regularly invited by the major theaters and opera festivals, Paolo Arrivabeni is especially in demand for Italian and French opera, but he is also particularly interested in the major Russian and German repertoire, regularly conducting works by Mahler, Strauss and Mussorgsky. M° Arrivabeni recently conducted La Favorite at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris, La Traviata and Macbeth in Dresden, La Forza del Destino and a Wagnerian Gala in Liège, Il Trovatore at the Sferisterio Opera Festival in Macerata, Macbeth and Nabucco at the Staatsoper and Maria Stuarda at the Deustche Oper in Berlin, La Straniera and Moïse et Pharaon in Marseille, Macbeth in Copenaghen, Fidelio, Tosca and Aida at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège, Roberto Devereux in Florence, Simon Boccanegra in Dresden, Lucrezia Borgia at the Munich Opera Festival, lately La Cenerentola in Liège and again in Munich (Bayerische Staatsoper) for Il Turco in Italia. Future plans: Lucrezia Borgia at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich; Nabucco, I Capuleti e i Montecchi at Deutsche Oper in Berlin; La Bohème at the New National Theatre in Tokyo; Don Giovanni in Monte-Carlo; La Forza del Destino at the Grand Théâtre de Genève; La Rondine in Toulouse; Boris Godunov and I Due Foscari in Marseille; Don Carlo in Dresden; Un Ballo in Maschera at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo; series of concerts in Paris. In Liège M° Arrivabeni will conduct Les Pécheurs de Perles and other important productions.
